Sherwood Pathways is our part time, small group provision for Primary pupils who are unable to regularly attend their mainstream school, due to anxiety–related reasons, but who are able to work outside of their homes. Some of the Primary pupils may have been permanently excluded or are close to this and Sherwood Pathways can provide a ‘reset’ or ‘circuit break’, supporting pupils to re-engage positively with school routines and learning, before ultimately reintegrating back to their own school. This short-term provision is based at the Sherwood Education Centre where pupils are taught by skilled teachers and teaching assistants in a safe and nurturing environment.
